CD Error Fix - Which worked for me
Hope this works for you.
Hope this works for you.
- Check to see if there is a CD stuck in the "load slot".
- If so, using a tweezer pull the CD out.
- Then, eject all remaining CDs in deck.
- Turn off power to CD player
- Turn on and retry - Fixed for me.

Think this happened to me once, Cd was changing and hit a large bump. My solution was to hit the side of the center console hard as **** and bingo, it worked again. Got my discs out and only run one at a time now.

CD Player Reset - Battery Disconnect
You guys rock! The CD player in my 2006 LS430 was stuck. Each time I turned my car on or tried to switch to the CD player I would hear a buzzing noise for about 5 seconds or so and the words CD Error would come up on the screen. I was preparing myself to spend hundreds of dollars to get it repaired when I saw this post. I disconnected the negative battery terminal for 10 minutes and then reconnected the cable and sure enough the CD player worked again. I didn’t even lose any of my preset radio stations or other settings. Love that! Two things I love the most is fixing stuff myself and saving money! Thanks guys!

Yes, you guys do rock. I had a feeling that a battery disconnect might work but after reading this post I decided to give it a try. Low and behold my CD player is working again. Now my wife and I can travel in luxury and listen to Books on CD. Thanks Club Lexus.
