If you are changing it as often as you mention......it probably is more than "normal"......but define normal for a 2004-2006 3rd brake light replacement? Possibly because of the 3rd brake light setup in conjunction with the LED tail lights causes the premature 3rd conventional bulb failure. Regardless, I'm sure it's not something that requires a fix, other than changing the bulb more frequently.

 

Yes that's what I've been thinking, too. Something to do with the LED tails. I've changed third bulb twice in about 2 years??

It's no big deal at all-- I just want everyone to know that it seems the '04+ cars eat through these.

Check em so you don't get pulled over and have to deal with the cops.
