Help! Help! SOS! I need to get into the trunk w/o the key
I locked my keys in the trunk so I had to break into the car which set off the alarm and put it into alarm mode which makes it so I can't pop the trunk with the switch.
If I get the back seat out, is there access into the trunk? I have it part way out now but don't see any access. The trunk liner is blocking me.
Maybe if I knew a way to reset the alarm I could have my kid stay in the car and once I reset it he could just pull the trunk switch? Anybody know the fuse to reset and if that will work?
I would much appreciate any ideas!

THANKS!

you can disconnect the battery.
do you have a young child that may fit in the rear armrest area and pull the trunk access handle?
reconnect the battery after a few minutes and hit the switch.good luck

The UL model doesn't have a pass through. It has a "refrigerator" instead. I don't think you'll get access by taking the seat out. How about having a locksmith pick the trunk lock? It's right above your license plate to the right on the horizontal ledge.

Any luck with getting into the trunk?

Have a Lexus dealer cut a new key based upon the VIN (or key code, if you have it) and your proof of ownership to open the trunk. You don't need the internals of the key fob to open the trunk. Insert the new key into trunk lid underneath edge to the right of the license plate. New key stocks for '01 - '03 can be had online very cheaply (if you can wait for delivery). Lexus dealer may be able to provide a solution. You can also DIY program a new spare key for your '03 -- after you get into your trunk, of course.
