Default Light Level Sensor replaced

Recently I replaced the headlight sensor (the infamous AFS) withe the Dorman from eBay.
The AFS light is of the light Dow move withe the suspension. But what I have notensed is when I am at a not moving stop light the lights keep on moving up and down a bit. Is that normal.

Sorry got besy last few days. Yes it is the 924755. The headlight do the up down at startup. But it keeps moving up and down when at stop.
Like if you are inching in traffic or slowly getting into a parking spot.
Will try to take a short vid of it.

The sensor is essentially a spring loaded mechanism counter acting against the levered suspension arm to sense how loaded the suspension is and adjust beams accordingly. If the old sensor was bad and you replaced with new but are experiencing movement at slow speeds - then my guess would be the AFS mechanism on the headlights themselves.

Huuuu.
I understand how the system works. I did save the old sensors and opened it up. The middle spring is broken.
Maybe I will fix the old one and see if it acted the same. Hope the macanisim on the head light is not too expensive.
Thanks.

Trying to upload a video but don't now how.

Take the spring out of a ball point pen, replace broken spring in sensor and seal the two halves of the sensor back with some light RTV to make it watertight.

Maybe you fix the old one and replace the other sensor on the car?

At the end of the day, it looks like a spring driven mechanism changing voltage which is then passed on to the AFS assembly up front that then affects and controls the movement of the lights up and down. So try replacing both level sensors under the car and see if that fixes the issue. I have not had to take the AFS headlights apart and I hope not to - they look complicated mechanisms that my big putzy hands are probably going to break!
