Default Automatic headlight sensor

Quick question guys. My automatic headlights only come on when it's really dark. I would like them to come on when it's lighter outside. I know the sensor is adjustable. I took it to Lexus and they hooked the car up to a handheld computer, which told them that the sensor was set to normal. They told me they could adjust it to Light 1, Light 2, Dark 1 or Dark 2, but they didn't know which setting would provide the most sensitivity. I would assume one of the "Light" settings would be the way to go, but I'm not sure, and, in any event, don't know whether Light 1 or more or less sensitive than Light 2. Anyone know the answer?

Surprised the Lexus dealership doesn't know. . .

Here are the options:

DARK2/DARK1/NORMAL/LIGHT1/LIGHT2

(See attachment for other options you can adjust).

Anyways, from a logic standpoint, I would guess that it's Light1 that you'd want for a little more sensitivity, and Light2 for most sensitivity (that is, with Light2, it will turn on the earliest vs. the other settings; and Dark 2 would turn on the latest). If it's wrong, have the dealer change it the other way.

Photo sensor is on the top front edge of the dash (looks like a button). Confirm your settings by covering the sensor (For your dealer: If you have to hide/cover the sensor more, for the lights to turn on, the setting is for more light )
