Default Front/Suspension Squeeks groans

Hey everyone this is my second post. I have a 2006 LS 430. When I go over a speed bump it makes this kind of loose groaning sqeeking sound. I only hear it going over speed bumps. Sounds like it's coming from the front left side. The Lexus dealer says I need to get a front brake job done theres less than 1MM to sensor (I don't have a clue what that means). I AM getting the brakes done tomorrow. Im not going to the dealership but I do have a trusted mechanic tht specializes in German cars AND specifically Lexus.

Anyone have an idea where to start looking? Should I just go ahead and get back brakes done too?

Any suggestions would be great!

Ball joints. Don't know about LS but they are a big common issue with the 2nd gen GS. Same symptoms

So I got my car back after 2days. Had to get the bushings and brackets replaced in the front. It made a BIG difference in the ride! The car floats now on the highway. Cost almost 1200.00. the labor was more than the parts LoL

Just I'd let you know. Thanks for originally responding to my post

awesome! Did they say which bushing and brackets?

In my 99 LS400 I had the same noise as you. I had to replace the strut rod bushing. There were many names to that part that I can't recall

The invoice said 2 control arm bushings front lower rear (I believe) and 2 control arm brackets. I just can't get over how it rides now. Its not wabbly on the interstate and its not groaning and loose over speed bumps. Its so much quieter and grips the road! I like the LS even more now than ever LoL

My mom has a 1999 LS400 Pearlescent White and tannish on the inside
I have 06 Crystal White Pearl with Cashmere. I wanted a GS 350 like 07 08 with Cashmere but GS aren't plentiful around here nor is the LS (the one i got i drove 150 miles for) I test drove an LS and fell in love..
