Default Memory seat/mirrors---aggravating

I guess this is normal; but, thought I'd ask.

The wife's memory seat is set to the #1 button. Mine is set to the #2 button.

If I drive the car and park, when I return the memory has changed to #1.

This doesn't occur all the time but most of the time. Yesterday, I stopped and parked twice. When I returned the memory had changed (both times) back to #1.

Seems to me the setting should stay where it was last set and not change until a button is pressed.

I'm not really sure about this. But it could be the set of keys that you use are preset to trigger seat memory number 1.

Give it a try with a different key and see if the problem still exists.

Yes, the specific key is programmed to the seat and mirror settings (assuming you have Smart Access option on '04 - '06 model year).
