Default Need Help- Wheel advice (sizes, offsets)

I want to put a larger set of wheels on my LS I just purchased and lower it slightly with Tein CS coilovers. The problem I have is I am not sure with the very wide range of wheel options and offsets for our vehicles what size I should be ordering. Staggered, non-staggered and the such. I cannot run a super aggressive "Stance" because The roads in my area of the country can be fairly bad at times. I do not want to trim or roll fenders and do not want to rub over uneven pavement, but at the same time want a "mean" look to it.

I have searched till I am blue in the face and even PM'd a few members from the picture thread to get their specs to no avail. I hope I am not breaking any rules with yet another wheel question thread.

This is similar to the look I am going for.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am in the same boat as you with same requirements

My initial issue was 19 vs 20

I think it seems 9 inch wide in front and 10 inch wide rear works

Offset is of course key

Make sure wheels clear bbk

I may go with 235/245 front and 275 rear

What size wheels are you looking at 18, 19, 20??? Thats going to make a big difference on other factors. Also need to remember that if you plan on rotating your tires front to back all 4 wheels need to have a high disk pad to clear the front brakes.

For reference the stock 18" wheels for the LS430 is a 18x7.5 +45 offset.

I think I am leaning toward 20", but am not opposed to a 19" I would like 9 or 9.5 wide if that is doable without rubbing or fender modification while still clearing the brakes. I prefer the "sport touring" look to the radical camber stance. Just want the wheel wells filled up.

My car had nearly that exact same look with 20's. 8.5" up front with 38 offset and 9.5" rears with 43 offset

Did you have any rubbing? Any modifications to the fenders needed? How much lower was your suspension? Sorry for so many questions, but trying not to make an expensive mistake.

Opinions on these Rotiform VCE on our car? I know they are a "euro" (Audi style) wheel.

Thank you. This helps a great deal. This is exactly the "look" in terms of height and filling the fender well I am looking for.

Easy peasy, I have factory air and used a DataSystems controller to set it and forget it!
