Hey guys , I have a 2004 ls430 and I been having issues with my tranny it gets stuck in 3 gear and nothing will help to get it out , got to restart the car and sometimes disconnect the battery also at the same time get check engine light and track on , help anyone experience anything with tranny?

 

2004 had a transmission TSB that you may want to check into if it has been done or not on your car.

 

If you have a 2001-2003, get a mechanic to check the transmission fluid level and condition. If the level is fine and the fluid looks good, some people have had similar symptoms emerge when their transmission speed sensor went bad (most of the cars that have this issue are ~120k miles old and haven't had good maintenance done to the transmission or over 200k miles)
