Rear view mirror tape/sensor?

It's an inventory RFID tag. Makes it easy to pull up records for that particular car. I don't know how many dealers use them, but they are a common use item in the business. You could go into a garage with multiple cars, hit the scanner and grab data for each of the cars in the room. Easy Peazy
