how do I know which model LS430 I have ? I see people with the Ultra edition , which do I have how can I tell?

I'm not sure that you can tell by the VIN but otherwise it depends on your equipment list.

Does it have Navigation?
Does it have air suspension?
Does it have a little badge on the body behind the front wheels?

Only you can tell so more info is needed if you want the forum to figure it out for you. Alternatively you can read more of the posts and diy.

it has navigation ,no air suspension, I don't see any badge behind front wheels , it does have these square blocks on the bumpers

Yeap. If it's got head light washers but no air suspension and no rear seat refrigerator, it's probably a CL. I wonder how rare they are? Seems like the ML is most popular with base/CL/UL all being more rare.

Sounds like you don't have an owners manual. If not, log on to mylesux.com, register as an owner, and order an owners manual. They are provided by Lexus at no cost.

My '05 Custom Luxury also has Smart Access. Interesting that it wasn't offered on that package in '04.
