It's always a woman in a Camry

Here's a lady that was yapping on her phone and locked up her brakes swerving in front of me

It was raining and we were all good to go through a yellow light, but she saw a cop sitting at the intersection and panicked

What's funny is that the cop was also on her phone not even paying attention to what had just happened lol

The dash cams without a battery are the way to go as they're unaffected by heat. I agree about the available phone apps being very versatile and customizable. The video quality is excellent on a cell cam.
I've run my S3 (with app Daily Roads Voyager) for the past 3 years. Solid as a rock with great video quality. Don't have to worry about having huge amounts of memory as it overwrites old files. I have it set to record for 120 seconds then start a new file. When it gets to 3 files it overwrites the oldest file. As someone else mentioned it will suck your battery down so it has to be plugged in. I use a cheap amazon suction cup mount on my dash.

I use the S3 as my daily cell phone and it doesn't bother me to remove it from the dash everytime I leave the car.

Yes, it's the aerodynamics of the UL that give it slightly better mileage when you reach the speed that the bags lower the body of the vehicle.

I have been trying to figure out the weight difference between UL's and let's say a ML. Curb weight of the ML is 3990 lbs I believe. Is it possible to find the curb weight of the UL on the vehicle? I did not see it on the door sticker. My GWVR is 5145 lbs. Is yours any different?

Edit:

I see online 5100 lbs listed as the 04's gross weight. Maybe this means the UL is only 45 lbs heavier. Lot less then I thought if this is accurate.

At highway speeds the effect of additional weight on MPG will be insignificant, aerodynamics will dominate between UL and non-UL.

The only aerodynamics we are talking about is the fact that the car lowers itself about 1/2 an inch over 60 mph right?

Doubtful! I'm just skeered that if I leave ANYTHING in plain sight in the car some ahole will smash one of my windows to take it.

Default "Laser alert" never happened from 9500IX

Police sit on bridge and shoot liscense plate with radar as you pass under bridge with instant on, laser alert never goes on as target is so small on back end of car. Second cop on ramp is on yur tail like flys on poop with lights on. Drops 15 over to 10 over. Escort apologizes says unit is not perfect but explains what happened to me when story was told to them.

9500 IX goes in closet . Driver realizes what s the hurry odds will get ya, do not like ANY interaction with police(seen the news some cops are mean people). Good day

Just thought I would share a little video I made. Nothing too special. The WRX is still in the break-in period but man does that car haul ***. This is shifting at about 3500 rpm's. What a fun car!
