My 2001 LS430 have a power, normal, snow driving mode.
If i use the snow mode every day, can save a gas better then normal?
The snow is set-up very low-power status, I guess.
Is it possible?
I would say no. In most cars, snow mode starts you in 2nd gear to reduce torque. It takes more power to get these big cars going from a stop in 2nd gear so I would assume it is using more gas. Snow mode is meant to be used briefly when you're having trouble getting the car moving, not as something to leave on.
I could be wrong about how Lexus does it, but my experience with Volvo is that snow starts you in 2nd.

You are correct. Snow mode switches the transmission to a higher gear to prevent the normal torque of 1st gear from spinning the tires at a standing stop. In Snow mode on dry pavement, the tendency would be to put more foot on the gas pedal to accelerate, resulting in reduced gas efficiency.
