Default 06 LS430 mirror puddle lights not functioning?

Got a weird problem on my hands, i had originally swapped out the incandescent bulbs that were in there for some LED bulbs and they worked fine for months. Now i went to swap them for even brighter LEDs and first one side stopped working, then the other side . I swapped them back for the regular bulbs and same deal. I checked the fuses related to the mirror lights and they are still good. Has anyone else experienced this before? If so then what was your solution?

Do you have a multimeter that you can check for 12V DC at the bulb connector itself? I would start there. Trace the power.

Did you poke the prongs that keep the bulbs in place with some kind of metal when trying to replace them? Could be the cause, it would cause your fuse to blow or the bulb connector to go bad.

You may have had some bad luck sticking the plug in because LEDs need to plugged in the correct way. I notice when I stick them in one way, it will not work, then it works when i flipped it around. Also, you may need to play with the prongs a bit an straighten them up. They are tiny prongs so they are manipulated easily when installing and can fall out of place. Im not sure what the odds are of it being the wrong way the 4 times you tried but I am hoping that will be the fix.
