Hi all - my father has a 2002 LS430. He hit a deer last week. Everything looks OK except for the driver side headlamp assembly, which got cracked and a few pieces of the clear plastic cover are now gone. I called the dealership to get a price for a replacement. The gentleman there told me there were two different units based on the options the car had, does that sound right? One assembly for $1410 and the other for $760. Rockauto only shows one assembly, they have it listed for $472.

Sewell Lexus only have one headlight housing listed for the 02 model year.

it's crazy how the 04-06 housing is like double the price of the 01-03

 

Well the 04-06 assembly has a new projector bulb with the ability to steer with the car, so it's a much more complex unit.

 

They are available used on EBay and other sites.
