Default More bass with ML system

To those of you that have added more bass to the stock ML system, what have you done?

I'm thinking of maybe something all in one but am afraid its going to sound like crap and take up too much trunk space. I've done the whole aftermarket systems before but I just want to add some more low end and keep everything as stock as possible with this car.

I added 2 - 12 inch - 500-1000RMS - Kaption audio sub woofers in the trunk with a 1200 brutus hifonics amplifier.

It THUMPS, the only problem is its more then I need.

If you want my advice, the best way to go is to just get 1 woofer for the rear , it will be good enough and you can save your trunk space.

The ML system can handle the bass, it wont drown it out and just adding bass is enough to have a fairlyw high quality system.

Really the only way to go IMHO is to run an IB setup or a fourth order ported through the rear deck or ski pass. Do it once, do it right.

When people listen to my almost stock ML they are shocked by how much base it has.
Dynamat and Kicker COMP88 sub will do wonders.

Yes and yes. Sub is only 50%, dynamat another 50% of credit for a nice bass.

I've got a 10" SoloBaric and Kicker amp sitting around. These subs don't require a large box to steal trunk space; I plan on installing soon to resolve bass issue.

I have a small box that fits 2 8 inch focal subs 200w rms each hooked up to a focal fp4.75 amp in my trunk. Not obnoxious ghetto bass but very refined and improves music in my opinion. Connected to the factory sub. So i technically have 3 subs in my car.

I put 2 DC audio 12 level 5 with1 3500 watt amp. I had a second 3500 watt amp but way to loud. Running with 2 XS D3100 battery in the back with all 0 gauge wires. Second skinned my whole car even the roof
