Anyone DIY replace the hood lock control cable (the shielded cable that connects the inside hood unlock lever to the hood latch)? Inexpensive part #53630-50060. I understand from Lexus that this is a common replacement on older LS. The cable starts to snag / bind and doesn't allow the latch to reset after the hood is open, so the hood doesn't lock down on the latch.
