Default New ls430 owner here

i just picked up a new for me ls430 yesterday, and then drove from nashville to denver. its black on black, not sure what a base car had as far as options, but it has no ml and no nav which is fine by me i plan on adding a kenwood excelon in there eventually and the 2 screens would have seemed silly to me. i has some mille migilia wheels on it, the tires are a little small though only 245/40r18. but they are almost new snow tires. i'd take some pictures to post, but colorado is in the middle of a snow storm right now. car drives awesome, feels very tight and well built, and there is not a squeek or rattle in it. the first leg of my trip i averaged 26.1 mpg doing about 5 over, the speed never really got above 75 and spent a lot of time at 65 and 70, the second leg i was doing 5 over at 80 for the majority of it, with what seemed like a 20 knot headwind and the fuel economy tanked to 22, all speeds and distances were calculated via gps. i figure with some better tires, and the right size i can probably get to 28mpg.

Your Black/black sounds like a dream car! Congrats.

My 2006 gets 28 mpg with me driving like a little old lady [cuz I am one]. I mostly drive on a county road with 55mph speed limit, and I usually don't go over 60 mph. I do very little in town driving.

Open her up every once in a while. She'll do 130 mph in a heartbeat.
