Hello,

Just purchased a 2003 LS430. I have a set of winter rims and tires, but need to shop for the summer. Since the car is black, I was thinking a set of black rims with good all season tires would look good.

Anyone have any suggestions / photos of nice rims and tires that have worked well for your car? Points to be given for inexpensive ones

I have a black ls to and I think black with machine or chrome lip looks good on the ls. On that note I just picked up some rims and I plasti dip them all black for now then I'm gonna paint them gloss black. When I throw them on I'll post pics. I'm waiting on my bc coilovers.

There is a black LS in my area with black 18"s and it looks pretty good. If you get black wheels with a chrome lip it will look pretty good.

With black wheels you may want to go with a 19 inch or 20 inch wheel. Sometimes black wheels look smaller than they really are and a set of 18"s might look tiny on such a big car.

 

Black is a slimming color, so I wouldn't get 18's if you decide to go with black.

Yup. I agree especially in the larger diameters. I see tire rack has some rims from 100-200 dollars each. Are these total crap?
