Default LS 430 2002 Electrical issues. Help?

I recently bought LS430 2002 in very good condition for good money, but I found some electrical problems that can turn this deal to total failure for me. Some of controls on the steering wheel works on/off, also the head lights works from time to time on/off, the gas range indicator falls down spontaneously ( it says no gas) then comes back from 1-2hrs, buttons to set the positions on the drivers' seat don't work at all, alarm turns on 4-5 mins after I lock the car(very annoying I have to take it off from the battery), may be more issues will come up.

The previous owner recently changed the amp(I got the bill) with recycle one(still in warranty), but I think that may be part of the problem. The Nav and ML works perfect so far, but he said the ML and the Climate Controls didn't work so he went to auto shop where the car was diagnosed with faulty Mark Levinson Apm internal supply then the Amp was replaced.(he gave me all receipts, it Amp its self costs $700).

I will greatly appreciate any help mates or if you can recommend some shop in Chicago area where I can bring the car for diagnostics.

Thanks a lot!!!

Hi there. Welcome to CL!
The most common issue with electronics in our card is a battery. Faulty battery can cause many weird symptoms and glitches. I'd recommend installing a new, trusty battery, then reassessing all issues you had.

I agree, make sure the battery is up to snuff. Let us know what you find out.
