So, what do we have here? Broken and clogged catalytic converter? I've sure seen this but the most commonly described problem is poor acceleration and engine shaking. Driving performance was never described or discussed was it? A good mechanic would have gone a long way to resolving this much, much easier!!

Tankids!! You saved a lot of effort, time and money... My issue was almost similar and very annoying too. I was not expecting such shakes from a LS. The mechanics were taking me for a round trip of the city until I found this. post.

Just replaced the Y pipe and the shakes has been reduced 98%... THANK YOU...THANK YOU...THANK YOU...THANK YOU...THANK YOU...THANK YOU...

Just question though. did this issue ever came back?
