they are on clearance (don’t judge) and the only size available is 18x9.5 +33. The guy I talked to from vmr wasn’t sure if they would fit as normally an 18x8.5 +35 is recommended.
what tire would I run with this large a wheel. I saw a guy on fitment industry with 245/45r18s and it looked fine. I don’t want the wheels to poke and I will be running revel coilovers with them.
I have a 2004 ls430 ul, I love the air ride. I what to update the wheels, at the same time keep the comfortable ride, NO RUBBING. I purchased a ASC680 controller,...which i will install on my next day off just to be able to tweek the height a bit, nothing extreme, but a little something better the stock options. What do you recommend?
Hi gents,
I'm new to the VIP world coming from the lowrider bomb world. I want to first thank everyone who take the time to share their experiences to help us all out. I just purchased Air Lift 3H Performance suspension for my 05 LS430 and want to limit my mistakes in stance fitment if thats possible. I would like 3 piece wheels tucked with a 3 inch lip and no spacers. I have been visiting fitmentindustries for samples but can't nail it to exact size: 19x9.5 frt, and rear or 19x10 for rear?
*I am pretty conservative, not looking for being a trail blazer and I like camber but not on my car.
Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated. I will continue to search this site as well as the web for nice samples

I was running 19x9.5 +22 with a 225/35zr19 up front and 19x9.5 +18 with a 235/35zr19 in the rear on air. No rubbing but front fenders had the inner lip shaved and they were rolled/pulled slightly as well as the rear. Now I’m on 19x8.5 +46 square and there is plenty of room aired out. Going up to 21x9 +37 up front and 21x10 +43 in the rear soon. Will also run 35 series tires possibly. Have to see how everything clears. Just make sure whatever tire you run has an Xl sidewall rating
Looks like I will be running 245/30r21 xl for the front and 255/30r21 xl for the rear.

Not the best pic, but it gives you an idea

19x9.5 +12 High Disc front with 235/35r19
19x10.5 +18 Super Low Disc rear 255/35r19
Shave and rolled with slight pull up front, fronts tuck with pinky tip width of clearance when aired out
Shaved and rolled with slight pull in the rear, fender to lip fitment when aired out. Need to pull slightly more.
Hi!
There is a little confusion about the wheels that I hope someone can explain to me. I have factory 18 inch wheels (4261A50110) with 7.5J ET45 with 245 45 tires. It's time to upgrade the rims and I want to buy 18 8J ET38 rims with 245 45 tires. And here I am faced with questions:
1. Can I leave the tire 245 45 on a disk 8J ET38, especially on the front wheels?
2. I happened to find, on a tire calculator, that on a 7.5J rim, the recommended size range is 215-225, with a maximum width of 235. Why is size 245 listed as the default in such a case?
Update: Wheels with the following specs (18 8J ET38 rims with 245 45 tires) fit perfectly in the front, wheel camber is full, nothing snagging, no spacers, nothing. It all looks much more harmonious with 245/45 rubber than it does on the factory 7.5J wide rims

Please help me with how to raise the height of my 2005 LS 430 by 2 inches (or as close as) with wheel and tire combinations- without any rubbing issues.
My car scrapes over a newly paved sidewalk and this seems like the best way to address (city will not change sidewalk as it is "to code".)

2 inches is a lot. are you sure your suspension isnt sagging at all, i feel like my LS sits high enough for some mild off roading lol. Im trying to lower it 2 inches. But i guess if youre adament you could get a 1 or 2 inch larger diameter wheel or tires with a larger sidewall. You should post your current specs so someone more knowledgeable than i can make some more specific suggestions
