If you do it, please take a lot of photos so we can see what it takes for such a major task.

 

You might consider picking up a 1961 Lincoln Continental and restoring it. It had suicide doors and was great. My dad had one, traded in his 59 Cadillac with the tall fins, and it was the best US car he ever had. It was a classic design and Lincoln's attempt to get back into the luxury market big time. Fantastic quality with full leather. It was an amazing car.
