Floor mat clips
3 design changes for a otherwise stellar designed LS. Head rest which moves up when you move the seat, having the info center buttons on the steering wheel versus climate control, and cleaning my car this week the plastic swivel mat clips. I just bought a VW TDI Touareg and they us a simple rubber nipple embedded in the carpet you press the mat over, the mat has a nice grooved hole in it and they snap in place. They do not move and will never come out, well time will tell also but the LS clips come out are a bit finicky to lift up angle and slide down. Did they change em on the 460?
The Touareg is pretty nice. Quiet, handles well as it is assembled real similar to the Cayenne and weighs 5k so the thing is solid like the LS. Yes I did pony up 1600 bucks for a full warrantee thru VW 7/110k miles.

I guess at 180 k you can expect the steel grommets to pull out of the carpet after repeated in and outs of the mats. I had the same clips on the 09 Camry I had so must be a sane design. She still drives smooth and steady as a priests hand at communion at 100 MPH plus so no complaints. Still same design on the 460?
