Does anyone know if there is a way to increase the tone volume for the beep that happens when pressing one of the buttons? I have searched but havent found anything but seems like I remember reading on here somewhere that the volume can be adjusted. The tone volume on my 2002 ls430 is so low I can barely hear it.

Look for a turning **** under drivers side dash, near OBD II connector.

 

Are you referring to the ton that sounds outside the car when you lock/unlock the car or the tone made by the radio/nav when you hit a button? As yuri said, the dial for the exterior lock/unlock tone is under the dash.

 

I mean the tone that sounds inside the car when you for example turn on the fan or A/C.

Increasing the beep volume of the HVAC buttons is not a customizable feature per the LPS list for your car. The list of customizable features has been posted many times including in the "Sticky: LS430 FAQ Thread " at the top of this forum page.
