LS430 locking "beep" volume...
I just found out that underneath the dash, a little to the right from the LED footwell illuminating bulb, there's a volume **** to adjust the remote lock / unlock beeping volume of the car. You can even turn it off all the way. Note that this **** does not control the "panic" siren / horn though.
Found the **** while I was searching for screws that hold the bottom dash panel. Anybody knows how to open up the panel underneath driver's side dashboard ? I swear I've been hearing rattles from underneath my dash.... Oh well, probably it's time to slam the car low... at least I will be able to blame the rattle to the slamming...

gewe21-You're correct!!!!!!
Gewe;
The reason I seemed surprised is that while I was having my C-best settings changed I asked the service manager if the volume of the locking mechanisim could be changed and he said. Cmon guess?
Yes, he said there was no volume control for the locking mechanisim.
Thanks for the info. If it wasn't for all you guys on this board my Lexus wouldn't be have as efficient as it is.
