Default Volume of the beep

When I lock and unlock my LS460L using the button on the remote key, the beep sound is soooo quiet that I can hardly hear it. I took the car into the dealer for a 1000 mile check up and they said they would turn up the beeps as loud as they would go. Well the beep sound for the park assist bumpers became very loud, but nothing happened to the volume of the beep for locking and unlocking.

Does anyone know if this volume is adjustable?

Hmm, I checked the LPS settings for the LS 460 and it doesn't list volume of beep there, it lists customizations for which doors to lock etc. Maybe there is a setting but I'm not sure.

I took my car to the dealer a couple of times. The electrical engineer let me play with the TIS portable computer. Once your logged in Hit "Customize" then Body, on the top right theres a combo-box im not sure which one you have to select. Im definitly sure that i saw an option named "Volume Beep" and another one "Park beep" something like that and other volume control options. Its just that they dont test their changes they keep the car for a day or two and call back " Hello Mr....Come pick your car its done". Its only a 5 minutes porcedure if he knows what hes doing. So next time before picking up your car test it there or if you were allowed to enter the workshop and use the TIS with the engineer next to you. Lexus should give us this TIS portable computer its just not fair that everytime i want to customize something i have to take it back to them.
