Default Rear door lock question.

Does any of your rear doors unlock automatically when the latch is pulled as the fronts do or do you have to unlock them manually? Mines dont. Is there something im missing or is this a S.O.P?

Hold lock and trunk button on the key fob until you hear 3 beeps. All 4 doors will unlock when you reach inside the handle.

Sorry i may have written this wrong way. I meant the inside rear door latches. My rear doors don't auto unlock the door like the fronts do when i pull the latch to get out.

My 2005 LS needs to be unlocked in the rear by something other than the silver door handle from the inside.
The front silver handle will perform the unlock function in addition to the open function.

Oh, I need to manually unlock the rears after I stop. Is it possible to unlock all 4 when you put it in park?

Is it possible that you have the rear door child locks engaged?
Open the door and look at its rear edge surface. If the small lever is in the UP position, the inside door open handle will be inoperable.

Yes the child locks are off. I can still open the door but only after i flip the unlock thingy with my finger. With the front doors all i have to do is pull the silver latch to open the door. Oh well i guess this is part of the design.

No, the rears will not unlock by just pulling the inside handle. Does not matter if child safety off. You have go manually unlock then open.

yep... I am not sure I have ever been in a car where the back doors unliock by pulling the handle. Only front doors will do that.

Absolutely, if I understand you. I have my car programmed so that all the doors unlock when putting the car in Park. Done by the dealer at my request.
