Default Battery was jumped now all hell has broken loose! Help!

My car was sitting during winter months, was dead, I gave it a jump. Once the car received the jump, went to drive it, now all warning signals are on dash board, my navigation screen is blank, car will not go over 30 mph..... Can someone please tell me what I can do to get my car back up and running properly? I didn't have any of these issues prior to getting the jump. All your help is appreciated! Thanks!

I would start by getting an OBD2 code scanner and see if any errors come up.

Most local auto parts stores will offer free error code readings.

Disconnect your battery for a few minutes and see if anything changes. Disconnecting the battery does miracles sometime.

Sounds like car went into Safe mode. Try disconnecting battery for a few minutes as posted and see if it resets. Your existing battery may also be dead or shorted. Its really risky doing a typical battery jump on today's modern cars - very easy to fry the electronics on a car with multiple computer chips and sensors on it.

You need to take the battery out and charge it, test it, then replace it if it is bad. The battery is not charged, thus the car is having issues because of this.

+1. Winter storage, these cars need to be on a battery tender. Most may get by at a couple weeks but beyond that it is iffy.

I usually drive my LS infrequently during the winter when the salt is off the roads. When parked, I turn off SmartAccess under the dash and put the car on a Battery Tender every 2-3 weeks.

UPDATE:
Resetting the ECM by disconnecting battery did not work with the dashboard warnings .... nor with the accelerating problem I was having..... Found out that I had a blown ETCS, 10 amp fuse #85 driver's side engine compartment.... replaced it ...I can hit the road now! Yay! In regards to the radio not coming on... it's a fuse, also #33 in the trunk, driver's side on the floor.... yay! Lexi will be back up and running properly TODAY!

Thanks for your help!
