LS 430 '04 rear window sunshade issue

LS 430 '04 rear window sunshade issue
car is parked in the garage and im getting ready to leave home.
I put the car on "R" the rear sunshade goes down.
then i put the gear on "D" i start accelerating up to ~ 80 km/hr
and the sunshade will never go up.
( I tried the same thing on a friends car and it works perfectly )
i have to manually hit the sunshade button to make it go up.
This is kinda annoying i have to do this every time.
Has anyone faced this issue before ?
Im starting to think that the gear switch has some issues.
