Hi boys- Just bought an 04 LS430. Silver with black interior- Premium Package - Nav., Mark Levinson, auto close doors, voice rec. ect. - 95000 Ks so 60000 miles. Beautiful car- 2 owners- guy was leaving the country and needed to sell quick I got it for $15700.00 (Canadian)- think I got a good deal- what do you think??. (I find that cars are always more expensive in Canada, who knows why) Everything works great except the drivers side mirror- which only goes up and down but have found the thread for that and will attempt my fix this week- had to certify the car myself so I was a bit nervous- took it to my mechanic- everything was fine, all I needed was an oil change. Guy even put on new tires 7000ks ago. Interior looks like new- a few very minor scratches outside but I am going to buff them out. Very happy- had an 02 Ultra a few years ago- sold that , then bought an 05 ES330, 2 SC400s (toys) and a GS430- all great cars but nothing like the LS. Glad to be back.

 

Congrats on rejoining the family. The premium package in the US did not contain nav, ML stereo, and auto door closers. Those items, without the UL back seat goodies and air suspension, were included in the custom luxury package. Canadian cars may have been different, though.

 

I think I have every option except the air suspension, chrome rims & only have the heated back seats- don't really care cause my kids used to play around with my radio when I had the ultra. I do have the moving headlights, adaptive cruise. Not sure if I have the upgraded leather - either way its great.

 

Yes, our friends up north have different package designations than the U.S. The speedo probably in Kph too instead of Mph. I've always had fun driving up north and seeing the different model designations there too.

I just bought my first LS430 after having 2 x LS400's over the past 10 years. So impressed with this car. There is virtually nothing that you need to add to it apart from an iPod connection. I have put 18" spoked rims on just to personalise it a bit and get lots of envious looks (especially from other Lexus drivers). Like to put some photos up on here......as soon as I figure out how!!
