Hey guys (and gals),

My driver's side front window is sticking in the up position...I've noticed it happens regularly when it gets hot outside. Not really so much when it's cool. I first started noticing it when I would hold down the unlock button on the remote to roll down all the windows from outside, and every window would open except for the window in question. I've taken the car in multiple times for it...a few times they've lubricated it. One time they even replaced the multiplex computer, or something...they charged like 5-600 to my CPO warranty, but it kept on sticking after that, so that obviously wasn't the problem. I don't know what to do! Sometimes it will be sticking but by the time I drive it in, it cools down and then it unsticks. I am at a loss. Please help!

shin etsu grease!!! LOL

 

Someone probably glued felt pads in there to keep it from creaking - instead of using Shin-Etsu grease. If the motor works fine, it sounds like it needs a new track/channel assembly.
