Some friends called this afternoon and invited me over for dinner. They live on a gravel road off a dirt road. I had just washed my Prius truck last night after hauling a load of stuff to Ohio over the weekend. I planned to wash the LS430 tonight as it was still dirty from the rain last week. So, I shrugged and carefully took the unwashed LS430 down the lousy roads - which weren't nearly so bad with the LS suspension. Yes, the car is now dusty atop dirty.

My LS has been constantly outside since early Aug as there is no garaged parking at the new school if it makes you feel any better....

Your punishment should be spending atleast 3+ hours doing a full exterior detail. Show us pics when you are done

i actually hand washed my LS430 when i got off of work yesterday afternoon into the evening. it was the first wash it received in probably 1 whole month. i think that is the longest i've ever gone in the last couple years, except for over long stretches of wintry weeks.

we had so much rain for about a month straight i couldn't see spending all that time to wash it just to have it rain 1-2 days later.

I just gave my LS the full spa treatment today. Spent about 6 hours on her! She looks insane. All ready for the bad weather to come. ( yeah I know it's only october, but I figured I would take advantage of te nice weather. Before you know it, it will be freezing. She got washed with Optimum NO rinse, clayed, Klasse AIO, and topped with Zaino Z5 pro. All was done by hand. Did not pull out the porter cable today. I also AIO' the wheels, and used some bare bones spray in the wheel wells. Also used Meg's 40 on the tires.

Buy tarps for the trunk and the floor of the back seat. Visit PetSmart and get a rear seat cover. Problem solved.

Shame on your Caddy... now we know that it was your wife that kept the car clean. Rest her soul.

Just kidding of course. How is everything else in life?

I've been staying busy, which helps.

I cringe at the thought of an LS430 on a dirt road.
You better apologize to the poor thing right now, and give it a good detail, too.
