Default Rear leg room comparison

According to the official reports, the 2008 MDX has about 1 inch more rear legroom than the LS, but when we went to go drive it yesterday, it definitely didn't feel like it did. And that was with my driver seat way up too. In the LS, I'm driving comfortably and there's plenty of room in the back seats (even for me at 6'2). I'm trying to use the rear leg room measurement as a gauge to determine which potential SUV would fit our 2 twin car seats comfortably while allowing me to sit in a somewhat normal position like in the LS.

Indeed, the 2008 MDX may have more rear legroom than a standard 2008 LS460. However, the 2001-2006 LS430's have much more spacious rear-seat accommodations than it's little brother the LS460. The LS430 also has a much larger trunk to boot. Although I personally like the style of the LS460 better, in many respects I think the LS 430 is the better car.

Check out the legroom of the EX56. I know it's not an SUV, but I can't believe it's marketed even as a crossover suv!

Like Aqbill said, maybe the '08 MDX to the LS460, but not the 430. I have both vehicles ('10 MDX and '04 LS430) and same seating position, there is sufficiently more legroom/kneeroom in my 430 than the MDX. Honestly, a lot of time I really don't know how the "legroom" is measured in vehicles because some that have "more" seem like they have less.
