Certified pre owned coverage
Can anyone advise if shocks, suspension components are covered under the certified pre owned waranty? My 05 non air suspension rides poorly , especially with people in it. Thanks,

I don't know for sure, but all the covered items are listed on the Lexus website. In my experience, CPO coverage is for broken parts and the labor to replace them... not wear items like shocks, tires, wipers, brakes, etc.
If the shocks are leaking fluid, they are probably covered but don't quote me on that!

Take it to Lexus dealer - the service writer will get it diagnosed and then they will contact the warranty company to see if they will pay the dealer to perform the repair. Denial or agreement to cover a repair is not up to the Lexus dealer. But either way the Lexus dealer service dept is gonna get paid for the repair - by the warranty company or by you.
There may be some exceptions, but in a majority of cases the "standard" Lexus CPO 3 year 100k mile warranty offered by the dealer is actually underwritten and claims adjusted by a third party company.
The warranty is just an insurance policy with the typical fine print. If the coverage is denied and its a grey area type item - you can appeal to the warranty company or to Lexus or both. One or both may elect to pay for the repair for goodwill purposes, or they may split it, or you potentially may have to pay for some of it also. But it helps to understand the mechanics of what is going on in the transaction when you start negotiating. The insurance company is least likely to do anything for you but appealing to Lexus could be useful - you may at least get a discounted repair if you appeal.
