Default where is the sensor located ....

Does anyone happen to know where the sensor is that measures the outside temperature ?
Is it in the engine compartment ?

If you go to l-tunedparts.com (carson toyota/lexus) and select front bumper, then bumper and components, then temp sensor you can see that it is part of the front bumper assembly and costs $13.54. However it is not clear as to where it is actually located. When I look down in the area in front of the radiator I do not see the sensor. I assume that means it is located below that area and between it and the lower underbody panel or tray.

its behind the front bumper support, in front of the radiator. there is a vertical support on the core support it should be on that.
