Bumper Support Sensor???

I did a search here first before i asked... but i took off my bumper support earlier today to do some things. But behind it, there was a sensor. I tried looking online for info about it but nothing came up. If anyone knows, please let me know what it's for it'd be great, because it's starting to bug me heh. I have a 01 gs300 and i appreciate the help.

I'm gonna guess something to do with airbag deployment?

That sensor has a little slide clip that attaches it behind the bumper very close to where it is probably hanging. If you can't find the clip just duct tape is on the inside of the bumper cover (just don't tape the end up).
