Thanks. Looks like I need a left rear control arm in order to successfully complete an alignment. What else can I expect to fix or repair in the short term? Everything else seems to work. I have to do the brake fluid, transmission, and power steering fluid. I've had bad luck with money sucking cars in the past, I don't want a repeat performance.

That's an early build 04 that would have been subject to the transmission and fuel pump replacement recall. Have both those been replaced by Lexus?

How can you tell it's an early build 04? Based on the VIN? I don't see either recall on the history of the car.

I'm having the high RPM issue when coming around a corner too....sounds like TSB TC006-04 might be in order. Would this be covered under the powertrain warranty? Any other TSBs that I'm not aware of?

Vin# ending in 000686 and build date shown on door plate of 10/04. All 04's built up to late 12/03 and Vin# ending in approx 150000 were supposed to have the transmission replaced and the fuel pump replaced.

CORRECTION: Sorry, yours is an early build 05 not 04, my mistake. Your OK.

Whew. I think I'll try to get the shifting TSB done. I noticed it coming out of turns, but didn't realize it was an issue with other cars too. It's really odd, the rpms will jump over 2k as I'm accelerating out of a turn. Would this be covered under the 7yr powertrain warranty?
