I am new to the forum. I know I will learn a lot from other users.
I live in North Alabama and I have owned a 2001 LS430 for about 14 months. I owned an LS 400 prior to this car. I really appreciate the Lexus quality.
My current LS 430 had recently developed a problem where the drivers window will not roll up completely. The window fails to seal and we have wind noise and a leak when water is poured on window. The window operates fine otherwise. Can anyone advise me on where to look for the problem part(s) or have suggestions for a repair?
Thanks in advance for any help!
I would go to the dealer and ask them to check window alignment vs window motor (maybe a window slipped or moved a bit).
They know how to take of the door panel without braking stuff...
I'm sure that there won't be any parts needed but only payment for labor...
I just joined the club and haven't figured out how to post a question but here is my problem. in cold weather, the interior gasket folds over as the window closes and the window binds- wont open, close until I pull the gasket back into position. is the gasket part of the door liner or can it be replaced separately

If your talking about the seal the goes around the door, yes you can buy that separately.
