Bought about a week ago. 2006 CPO with Modern Luxury package.
After a long line of European cars, this is my first Lexus.

Thanks for all the warm welcomes!

I was so impressed with this car the first time I drove it. It has a quality about it that was so unexpected. It reminds me of how Mercedes used to feel before they got all wrapped up in trying to handle like a BMW, but with a higher degree of engineering precision.

I'm am taking it on a several thousand mile road trip soon. I'm looking forward to giving my impressions afterwards. I do believe I picked the perfect vehicle for this.

Looks great! I'm also a recovering German car owner. Not sad at all to leave my Audi A8 behind. Drove great - expensive to fix!

Very nice find! In my short few yrs of driving, I started out with an American car (was my parents' oldest car...really turned me off from American cars), then 2 Germans, and now the Lexus. I really liked my 95 5 series a lot, felt extremely solid and high quality despite being so old. I wasn't anywhere as impressed with the 07 3 series though.

I totally agree with you, the LS has that feel of old German solidity to it with added Japanese reliability. I would say you bought one of the finest luxo cars around for the price of an average new car. Congrats!

Welcome to the Lexus family. I'll be very surprised if you ever go back to European cars after owning an LS.

Well the Lexus currently has to share space with 3 European cars. But when it's parked in the garage it looks like it owns the place!

Silver was never my favorite color, but when I saw this car it seemed to work perfectly with the style. Plus it's a good color in the Texas heat and dust.

Another reason I went with the Lexus is the dealership experience. Wow, these guys know how to do it right!
