Silver was never my favorite color, but when I saw this car it seemed to work perfectly with the style. Plus it's a good color in the Texas heat and dust.

Another reason I went with the Lexus is the dealership experience. Wow, these guys know how to do it right!

i'm jealous. i really like the silver with black interior.
nice car!

I was so impressed with this car the first time I drove it. It has a quality about it that was so unexpected. It reminds me of how Mercedes used to feel before they got all wrapped up in trying to handle like a BMW, but with a higher degree of engineering precision.

I'm am taking it on a several thousand mile road trip soon. I'm looking forward to giving my impressions afterwards. I do believe I picked the perfect vehicle for this.
Same think happened to me. Owned two Lexus, but when I drove the LS430 I had to have it and purchased it on the spot. I was at the dealership prepping to purchase a new ES350 later on in the year.

You'll love this car on the road trip.

Well I just arrived at my destination; 1300 miles in 2 days. The drivers seat is not good for me. The car drove beautifully, but my back is killing me.
I don't know if something is wrong with the seat but I am not looking forward to the return trip.
Anyone else have this problem?

A number of folks have complained about seat comfort. It was a problem for me at first, but I kept messing with it until I found the sweet spot. I sit very upright, extend the seat bottom to it's maximum length, and raise the seat to the point that my hair brushes against the roof.

The reason I went with the LS is for the 14 different seat adjustments. I have a torn disk in my lower back and had to adjust several different settings till I got it right. The main thing that I like is moving the seat bottom all the way out. I'd play around with it on the way home to look for that sweet spot.

Well, even though the driver's seat is not ideal for me, the rest of the car is. I averaged 25 MPG round trip. That was driving at a pretty good clip most of the way. I love the smooth power of the engine.
The Mark Levinson is amazing! The way it just helps melt the miles away.
One thing I wish I had done before the trip was clean the seat filters out. When we got back I pulled them out because the seat wasn't cooling very well, and sure enough the filter was completely clogged. It works great now.
The only other thing that bothered me was the door seal noise. Too bad I didn't have any silicone with me. But that was nothing turning up the stereo didn't fix.

Cool, congrats! I cannot wait to get mine, which will be soon. I purchased a blk/blk combo. I too will be going on plenty of trips to see fam and whatever schools the Army sends me to. I just sold an Evo, the seats squeezed me in, we'll see how these luxury seats feel. Congrats again.

Nice choice and welcome to both the board and the lexus world, personally for me silver is the best colour for these cars followed by black and then white, but of the three silver hides the road dirt best, sometimes I get so busy that I cant take a wash for three weeks and the car still looks clean I definately couldnt try that with a black or white car.

really? i thought there's nothing one can do about the efficiency of the ventilated seats? i guess i'll have to change mine out then and see if that makes any difference...
