I am happy to say that I am about to pick up a 2016 GSF.
t's a fully loaded Canadian version Orange Flare on Black model with only 6000 miles. It was a Lexus Canada's demo car.
I went to the dealership to see it and some LCs, and ended up buying after a 20 minutes test drive. Never compared it to anything else out there.

That isn't what I had envisioned as a F, that looks pretty sweet! I rather like the orange, there was an Audi S7 that passed us this weekend, also orange, that looked good....

You're correct sir. This color is best viewed in person. I think the same can be said about most Lexus designs.

I gave the Genesis 5.0 a try due to the incredible $ incentive. It's a good car, but not enough to tie me to the brand. Also, the service was really bad at my dealership. I am talking about the actual work done on the car.

I am a dual, so I buy cars where it make more $ sense. When USD=CAD, US cars were great deals. Now it's the reverse. Also, I have been working in Toronto more lately. I would spend time at my Indian Rocks Beach home whenever I could.

Nice purchase. If you actually intend to keep that car for a while you will be glad you got it over all the German garbage that everybody can't stop talking about. The reality is, none of these large super sedans will handle like a true sports car anyways, and do you really need 600bhp on a daily use vehicle?
All the people defending these German cars either do not own one or will not own one after about the 3 year mark when they start falling apart and only the crazy die-hard fans will keep pouring tons of money into them to keep them on the road.
The GS-F should be pretty bullet proof. Only expensive wear item would be the brakes. Oh, and I am sure you did not pay $115k for this like you would a loaded M5 that's probably worth the same as your car anyways on the used market now, so that must feel nice.

It's a fully loaded car with a few features that you can't get in US spec units. At just under 6000 miles (9200 Km), it felt like a new car, and IMO, it is a great deal at over 30% off MSRP
Earlier this year, I thought about unloading my 92 NSX. But after doing a complete maintenance on the 25 years old car at a cost of only $4000, I am completely sold on the idea of holding on to rare older Japanese cars. I think the GS-F will fall into that category 10-20 years from now.
