have you checked your high brake bulb? that can be the issue with the earlier models.

Welcome! Did you check your CHMSL (center high mount stop light)? Also, some brands are sensitive as to the type of replacement bulbs used (tin base v. brass base) and will continue to indicate a failed bulb if the base types are mixed.

Default Tail lamp warning went off

Hey guys, I had a brake wear warning fixed by changing the wear sensors and that seemed to turn off my "tail lamp failure" warning.

BTW napa auto parts had the best price for the brake wear sensors ($11 bucks) that sure beats the $90 + I've seen other places.

When you changed all the lamps, were they to original spec or were they upgraded or changed to LED bulbs or any other types? Also, after changing it, did you check to make sure all the lights were working or were any of them not functioning?

Default Wrong Bulb

Advance Auto listed the 194 bulb as a replacement for the high mount taillight. The bulb failure warning light would not go out. Checked at Auto Zone and they list the 168 bulb. Replaced all 5bulbs with 168 bulbs and the lamp out warning went off. Apparently while the 194 bulbs will fit and work, the wattage is different.
