Moving from 18" from a LS430 to 16" from an LS400

Johnson,
Thanks for the picture. Those are the exact same wheels I am going to put on my 03 LS430. Did you mount 225/60-16 H rated tires on them? Also what brand of tire did you use and how did the ride change from the original wheels and tires? Thanks again for the picture, I really like the look of those wheels on the LS430.

16s ride nicely
I went with Michelin 225/60R16 98V PRMXV4. I am a big Michelin fan and the what I gained in smoothness at highway speeds I did not lose completely in cornering. Not to say the handling was anything close to the 18s, but cornering is not why I bought a 430. There are speeds and pavement conditions where one feels as if one is gliding.
Admittedly, I am old school and like a boulevard ride, but insist on what I consider to be top of the line tires.

Johnson,
Those wheels look great. Can you give the model number of them so I can get the same ones. I had my 18s put on yesterday and the ride is just not what I know it can be.
Thanks!
