Baterry Replacement
My 2004 LS430 original battery (Panasonic) last for an unbelievable 6yrs+ and still working. The dealer advised me it's time to replace the battery for $195. So I bought one from Costco Group3 battery (800CCA) for $60 and it works just fine. The only trouble I have was to pry the clip on the +ve side during installation. All the electronic reset w/o problem. You'll hear a slight humming sound at the dash during the auto reset and the clock went back to daylight saving time but eventually went back to the correct time.
Glad to hear it worked out for you. I had a Costco battery in my previous car that I took out and put in my fiance's Accord coupe. It never let me down and you can't beat their warranty and price! If the one in the LS ever goes I know where to look!
