Default How To replace 2001 LS430 HID bulb

Hey all, first im glad there is a place like this to come to. Im new to this forum and have seen some very helpful posts. I have a 2001 LS430 BLK/BLK and the other night i noticed my passenger HID light was out. I have already ordered a set of replacement bulbs thinking it would be an easy fix. Dealer wants $307 per bulb to put in.... I cant see myself doing that but from what im hearing in the threads ive seen its the easiest option. Does anyone have pics or has anyone done this so i know what im getting into. i dont want to start and have it be too involved. Ive heard the bumper has to come off, or the light assembly has to come out... everything other than just a plug and play option... anyone have any knowledge of this.
missing an eye in this car is deffinately not the right look, lol. thanx all

I followed the instructions, but the new lamp is shining higher than the other side. The leveling appears to be working - when I turn on the car the lamps go up and down. Any suggestions on how to get the light to shine lower?

Make sure the bulb is properly seated in the socket. As unless you adjusted the beam height, it should be the same as before changing the bulb.

Hi, I can't get to the links because the new forum rules require minimum 30 posts even though I' re been a member for several years. Any suggestions?
