I have noticed that the door shielding my cd player seems to sag on one side (passenger) it still works okay but I wonder if the one hinge could be damaged. Anybody had to any work on this door, a photo of its layout would help me figure it out.

I took my Lexus into Toyota for a service, and a salesman tried to sell me an Avalon I asked him "why would I ever want to scale my ride DOWN" Amazing I can still say this on a 2003 LS430 Ultra!

 

I am still hoping maybe has done some work in this area and can shed some light on the config. of this CD door hinge. The door sags on the passenger side, it still is functioning but I would like to correct this if possible. I have the Mark Levinson audio installed. Please if someone has some info on how to disassemble this door and what I might expect to find I would be grateful,

 

mine is not going all the way in either, but it's uniform on both sides. I actually did it unknowingly. I was stuffing the wire from my tape/aux adapter behind the CD door, and now it doesn't close all the way snug.

Thanx for the pdf, it did not show the item I have a prpblem with. It's the actual hinged door that conceals the cd drive, the player door is fine.
