Which is GOOD because it means we don't have to have the tire unmounted from the wheel to replace a silly battery or an expensive, faulty sensor!

New CPO tires have no warranty other than what the manufactuer offers. Lexus has no obligation to do anything. OTOH, if you buy new tires from your lexus dealer, it comes w/ the lexus road warranty included provided the tires are supplied by Lexus.

I got a set of Michelin LTX2's for my LX last year, 1" larger in diameter (non-OEM size) from my dealer. Previous CPO tires were Bridgestone Dueler HT's. One thing I noticed immediately is the Michelins require hardly any weights to bring them into balance, and this is for a big, 32" diameter 40 lb SUV tire! The bridgestones had a reasonable number of weights. I had a set of Pro Comp AT's on my toyota truck that required a lot of weight. IMHO, the amount of weight required says something about the tire manufacturer's tolerances & quality. WHen my Bridgestone Turanza CPO tires on my LS wear out, I'm planning to get Michelins. For my winter tires, I plan to get Michelin X-ice2's.
