Any word on reliability? The price is half of the Datasystem. The sell points makes it seem like it will work faster but I don't think it will raise or lower the car faster as its the function of the compressor.

 

No idea, I just came across it in my search across some Japanese websites. Without actual testimonials from people in Japan that have used this, it's kind of a crap shoot on how it compares to the Datasystems unit.

 

Like REV-01 said, it reminds me a lot of controller way back. Field was pushed away in a wave of DataSystem popularity and started to disappear in a market place.

I've checked the biggest Japanese car website "minkara" and searched on parts reviews (they have over 2 million reviews on parts) and found only 3 reviews on this DHC unit.

All states that the unit does what it supposed to do and has not mentioned any negative points. For the price, this may be a good alternative.

Finding a US vendor who carries this item will be difficult and who know what the total cost would be shipped to your door steps.
