Found the attached 'mystery' part sitting on my left rear floormat of my '02 Cl this morning and for the life of me, can't figure out where it goes. It most likely (but not sure) it came off the drivers seat but haven't a clue where. Also, didn't find an obvious identical one attached to the passenger seat if that helps ...

Any ideas

Yeah that part goes on bottom the seat on the floor in the back of seat. It moves with the seat . If you get in back seat it slides in a slot and pops on little nut. Hope I didn't confuse u
